Faunexia publishes editorial information about companion animals. When there is a factual error, a relevant omission, or a broken link to a source, we correct it.
How to report
Write toinfo@faunexia.comor use thecontact form. Include the exact URL, what is wrong, and if you can, the font that should be used.
What do we prioritize?
- YMYL Risk:toxicity, emergencies, doses, contraindications or advice that may induce harm.
- Verifiable facts:weight data, life expectancy, legal status, scientific names or misquoted figures.
- Sources:generic, broken or links that do not support the claim.
- Clarity:ambiguous formulations that a reasonable reader could misinterpret as personalized clinical advice.
How we act
- We acknowledge receipt when the message reaches the editorial tray.
- We check the point with primary sources (organization guides, manuals, club standards when applicable).
- We published the correction at the same URL. If the change is substantial (health, toxicity, figures), we update the visible date of the part and, when it provides traceability, a brief "Updated" note in the body or byline.
- We do not rewrite the history to hide the error: if necessary, we record the change.
What is not a correction
Differences of opinion on editorial style, tone or emphasis; breed preferences; or remote diagnosis requests. This is not a substitute for a veterinary consultation.
