A medium or large parrot eats poorly if it lives on pipes: the base should be a complete food formulated for psittacines (e.g. quality pellet), fresh vegetables daily and fruit/nuts as an occasional treat. The ad libitum seed makes you fat, unbalanced and shortens life.
